OXVA VPrime 2 Pod Vape Kit

Some pod kits are designed to be replaced within a few months. The OXVA VPrime 2 isn't one of them. It's built with a battery large enough to genuinely last a full day, coils engineered to hold their flavour rather than fade after a week, and a finish that's moulded into the shell rather than sprayed on top. For anyone who's tired of disposable-grade kits that look tired within weeks, the VPrime 2 is a proper step up.

At VSAVI, the OXVA VPrime 2 Pod Vape Kit is £26.99 (inc. VAT), available in six finishes, from understated Carbon Black through to the brighter Mirage and Shard colourways.

A kit built to last, not just to launch well

OXVA earned a loyal following with the original VPrime, and the VPrime 2 is what happens when that feedback gets taken seriously. The battery jumps to 3400mAh, the largest OXVA has fitted to this line, output rises to a genuine 60W, and a 0.98 inch colour display replaces the guesswork of blinking LED lights with actual numbers you can read at a glance. It's the same easy auto-draw simplicity that made the original popular, now with the hardware to back it up long-term.

Key Features

3400mAh built-in battery. Comfortably the biggest battery in the VPrime range, enough for most people to get through a full day of regular vaping on one charge, with USB-C fast charging (5V/3A) to bring it back up quickly when it does run low.

5W to 60W output. A wide enough range to properly power both included pods, from a gentler mouth-to-lung style draw right up to a fuller, more direct-lung hit.

UniTech 3.0 dual mesh coils. Dual mesh heats more evenly than the single mesh coils still common in lower-cost kits, which means noticeably cleaner flavour and a coil that keeps performing well for longer before it needs replacing.

0.98 inch colour display. Wattage, resistance, mode and an exact battery percentage, all visible at a glance, with a lock feature to stop settings changing by accident in a bag or pocket.

Boost and Eco modes. Boost opens up more power for a stronger hit and denser vapour, Eco holds output lower to make the battery, and your pod, last longer between charges.

Auto-draw with a manual fire button. Simple inhale activation when you want it, full manual control when you don't, both built into the same device.

Adjustable airflow control. A rotating ring lets you open the draw up for more vapour and a looser pull, or tighten it for something closer to a cigarette-style draw.

Zinc alloy body with an IML finish. The colour is moulded into the panel itself rather than printed over the top, so it's built to withstand daily handling without wearing thin or scratching through to a different colour underneath.

Compatibility Guide

The VPrime 2 is a closed-pod system, built solely around its own Dual Mesh pods. It won't accept pods designed for other OXVA kits or from other brands.

Compatible pods: OXVA VPrime 2 (Dual Mesh) Replacement Pods, in 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω. These will be added to our pods range shortly and linked from this page directly once available.

Compatible e-liquids: Both nic salts and standard freebase e-liquids work well in the VPrime 2, the pod resistance you're running determines which style suits best, covered in full below.

Charging: Any USB-C cable will work, though a 5V/3A-rated cable or plug will give you the fastest top-up the device supports.

Recommended E-Liquids

For the 0.6Ω pod (tighter, mouth-to-lung draw): nic salts are the natural pairing, giving a smooth throat hit at higher strengths without the harshness freebase nicotine can bring at the same strength.

         Elfliq Nic Salt E-Liquids

Hangsen Bar Fuel Nic Salt E-liquid

         IVG Nic Salt 10ml E-Liquids

Lost Mary Maryliq Nic Salt E-Liquids

OXVA Ox Passion Nic Salt E-Liquids, developed by OXVA to suit their own pod coils

Full range: Nic Salts at VSAVI

For the 0.4Ω pod (looser, more direct-lung draw): a 50/50 or higher-VG shortfill will give thicker vapour and fuller flavour at a lower nicotine strength.

IVG Dessert Range Shortfill E-Liquid 50ml

         Double Drip Shortfill E-Liquid

Coil and Pod Guide

0.6Ω pod, 20W to 25W. A restricted, cigarette-like draw. This is the pod to pair with a nic salt, particularly at 10mg or 20mg, if strong, smooth nicotine satisfaction is what you're after.

0.4Ω pod, 28W to 38W. A more open draw with bigger vapour and more flavour off the coil, best matched to a lower-strength freebase or shortfill e-liquid at 3mg or 6mg.

Both pods share OXVA's UniTech 3.0 dual mesh coil, which tends to outlast single mesh coils before flavour starts to fall away. Expect roughly 200 to 300 puffs per pod as a general guide, though wattage and e-liquid thickness will shift that either way.

Usage Advice

Give a freshly filled pod five to ten minutes to settle before your first draw, this lets the wicking fully saturate and helps avoid a dry, burnt-tasting first hit.

Top the pod up gradually rather than filling it right to the top in one go, leaving a little headroom helps e-liquid move properly inside the pod as you vape.

Keep your wattage matched to the pod that's fitted, running the 0.6Ω pod up near 38W will shorten its lifespan and can turn clean flavour into a burnt taste far sooner than it should.

Store the kit away from direct heat, a hot car or a spot near a radiator can affect the battery and the e-liquid inside the pod, and keeping the device upright helps reduce the risk of leaks.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the battery last on the OXVA VPrime 2?

The 3400mAh battery typically lasts a full day for most vapers, depending on your wattage, how often you're using it and whether Boost or Eco mode is active.

How long does it take to charge?

Around 45 to 60 minutes from empty with the included USB-C cable and a 5V/3A charger.

What's the difference between the two included pods?

The 0.6Ω pod gives a tighter, cigarette-like draw suited to nic salts, the 0.4Ω pod gives a more open, direct-lung draw suited to freebase or shortfill e-liquid at lower strengths.

Which e-liquid should I use first?

If you're coming from smoking, start with the pre-installed 0.6Ω pod and a 10mg or 20mg nic salt for a familiar, smooth throat hit.

Is the VPrime 2 suitable for a first-time vaper?

Yes, auto-draw activation means there's nothing to set up, and the tighter 0.6Ω pod gives a draw most new vapers find easy to adjust to.

Do I need to buy pods separately straight away?

No, the kit includes both resistances, one pre-installed and one spare, so you can try both before deciding which to reorder.

Where will I be able to buy replacement pods?

OXVA VPrime 2 (Dual Mesh) Replacement Pods, in 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω, will be listed on our pods range shortly.

How do I know when a pod needs changing?

A flat or burnt taste, a crackling sound on the draw, or darkened e-liquid visible in the pod are the usual signs. Most pods last one to two weeks depending on how often you vape.

What's the maximum nicotine strength I can use?

20mg (2%) is the legal ceiling for e-liquid sold in the UK, and also a sensible maximum for a comfortable vape on either pod.

Does the VPrime 2 leak?

The Dual Mesh pods use an improved seal over the original VPrime pods, though keeping the device upright and avoiding overfilling will help minimise the risk with any pod system.

What does Boost mode do?

It raises the usable wattage ceiling for whichever pod is fitted, giving a stronger hit and more vapour, worth trying if the standard setting feels a little flat.

Can I use thicker, high-VG e-liquid in this kit?

Yes, especially in the 0.4Ω pod, which is built for that style of juice across its 28W to 38W range. The 0.6Ω pod prefers thinner, higher-PG or 50/50 liquids.

What colours does the VPrime 2 come in?

Six finishes: Carbon Black, Mirage Blue, Mirage Pink, Mirage Purple, Shard Black and Shard Gold.

Will original VPrime pods fit the VPrime 2?

No, the VPrime 2 uses a new Dual Mesh pod design that isn't interchangeable with the original VPrime's pods.

Can I switch between the two included pods whenever I like?

Yes, both are ready to use straight from the box, swap between them freely depending on whether you want a tighter nic salt draw or a fuller shortfill hit.
