COMPATIBILITY GUIDE

The XROS 5 uses the same connector as every other device in the Vaporesso XROS family, so it's fully compatible with the entire XROS mesh pod range: 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, 1.0Ω and 1.2Ω. The two pods supplied with the kit use the newer COREX 3.0 coil for the sharpest flavour available; older COREX 2.0 XROS pods will also work, with a slightly less refined result.

• 0.4Ω pod - the airiest draw available, best for a warmer RDL vape with higher-VG e-liquid
• 0.6Ω pod (included) - an all-rounder for MTL/RDL vaping, ideal with 50/50 e-liquid or nic salts
• 0.8Ω pod (included) - a tighter MTL draw, best matched to nic salts for a familiar, cigarette-like hit
• 1.0Ω and 1.2Ω pods - the most restricted draw in the range, well suited to former smokers wanting maximum throat hit

The XROS 5's 2ml pods are built around 50PG/50VG e-liquid and nicotine salts, a ratio that suits the mesh coils far better than thicker, high-VG shortfill juice. Depending on the pod resistance you're running, we'd suggest:

As a rough guide: 1–5 cigarettes a day, try 5mg nic salt or 3mg 50/50; 6–14 a day, try 10mg nic salt or 6mg 50/50; 15+ a day, try 20mg nic salt or 12mg 50/50.

HOW TO USE THE VAPORESSO XROS 5

1. Remove the pod from the device and lift the rubber fill bung on top.
2. Fill with your chosen e-liquid up to the max fill line, then push the bung firmly back into place.
3. Leave the pod to stand for 5–10 minutes before first use, allowing the coil to fully soak.
4. Push the pod back into the device until it clicks securely into position.
5. Press the fire button five times in quick succession to power the device on.
6. Cycle through ECO, Normal and Power modes as needed, and adjust the side airflow slider to your preferred draw.
7. Vape as normal, either by pressing the fire button or drawing directly, depending on your chosen activation setting.

Is the Vaporesso XROS 5 suitable for beginners? Yes. Filling the pods is straightforward, and the auto-draw setting lets you use it exactly like a disposable if you'd rather not press a button at all.

How long does the battery last on a full charge? The 1500mAh battery typically covers a full day of average vaping, depending on wattage and frequency of use. A full charge from empty takes around 30–35 minutes via USB-C.

Which pods work with the Vaporesso XROS 5? The full XROS pod range fits, from 0.4Ω through to 1.2Ω, with 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω COREX 3.0 pods included in the box.

How often will I need to replace the pod? This depends on your vaping habits, but most people notice flavour fading after several days, which is a sign the coil inside the pod needs replacing.

Can I use nic salts in this kit? Yes, nic salts work particularly well in the XROS 5, especially in the 0.8Ω, 1.0Ω or 1.2Ω pods, which give a tighter, more cigarette-like draw.

How can I tell when the pod needs changing? A burnt or dull taste, less vapour than usual, or a crackling sound are all signs the mesh coil has worn out and it's time to replace the pod.
