What Makes The Alpha Pod Different
The mesh coil inside is what Uwell calls AlphaCore, and in everyday terms it means the flavour stays truer for longer before you notice it starting to fade, which is usually the first sign a pod needs replacing. The mouthpiece has also been redone in a softer TPU material that feels more comfortable if you're someone who vapes regularly through the day rather than the odd puff here and there.

Which Resistance Should You Choose?
- 0.4ohm Caliburn GPP Alpha - Recommended wattage: up to 35W. The loosest draw of the four, built for RDL vaping with increased vapour production. Suits vapers who prefer a warmer, more restricted-lung style.
- 0.6ohm Caliburn GPP Alpha - Recommended wattage: up to 25W. A step tighter than 0.4ohm, giving a balance of flavour and vapour. A good middle ground if you're not sure which style you prefer.
- 0.9ohm Caliburn GPP Alpha - Recommended wattage: up to 15W. MTL vaping with a tighter draw, closest to how a cigarette feels. This is often the resistance we'd point new switchers towards.
- 1.2ohm Caliburn GPP Alpha - Recommended wattage: up to 13W. The tightest of the four, giving smooth MTL vaping with efficient battery use. Best paired with a higher-strength nic salt.

Best E-Liquids For Uwell Caliburn GPP Alpha Pods
Mesh coils like this one work best with thinner e-liquid, so nic salts and 50/50 vape juice are the right choice here. Thicker high-VG liquid isn't recommended, particularly in the 0.9ohm and 1.2ohm pods, as it can be slow to wick through and shorten how long the pod lasts.

How To Fill And Prime Your GPP Alpha Pod
- Take the pod out of your device.
- Snap off the mouthpiece to open the fill port.
- Fill slowly with your chosen e-liquid, staying below the max fill line.
- Push the mouthpiece firmly back down until it clicks shut.
- Leave the pod to rest for 5 to 10 minutes before your first puff, so the coil has time to soak through properly.
- Click the pod back into your device and vape as usual.
It's tempting to skip that resting time on a new pod, but it's the main reason a first vape sometimes tastes burnt, so it's worth the short wait.

Why does my new pod taste burnt?
This is almost always because the pod wasn't left to soak before its first use. Fill it, then wait 5 to 10 minutes before vaping so the coil is properly saturated.
Do I need a separate coil for this pod?
No, the coil is built into the pod, so there's nothing extra to buy. When it's finished, you replace the pod as a whole.
Is there a bigger, 4ml version of this pod?
There is a 4ml XL version made by Uwell, but we don't stock it, as it's above the legal 2ml limit for vape tanks and pods sold in the UK.
What's the difference between the four resistances?
Lower numbers, 0.4ohm and 0.6ohm, give a looser draw with more vapour. Higher numbers, 0.9ohm and 1.2ohm, give a tighter draw closer to mouth-to-lung, better suited to nic salts.
Can I put a different flavour in a pod I've already used?
It's best to run the pod dry and give it a quick rinse first, otherwise the old flavour can carry over into your next few fills.
My pod is leaking. What's going on?
First check the mouthpiece has clicked fully shut and that you haven't filled past the max line. If it's still leaking after that, the pod may be faulty.
Can I use ordinary e-liquid instead of nic salts?
Yes, a lower-strength 50/50 e-liquid works well too, particularly in the 0.4ohm and 0.6ohm pods, which are built for a warmer, higher-vapour style.
Will this pod fit the Caliburn G3 Lite?
Yes, GPP Alpha pods are designed to fit the G3 Lite and other related G3 series devices.
How do I know it's time to change the pod?
A drop in flavour that priming doesn't fix, a burnt or flat taste, or less vapour than usual are all signs a fresh pod is due.
